College Volunteer Programs
We at Advocates for World Health are passionate about empowering students to do great works through volunteerism. Through our many student chapters, college students operate regional collection centers around Florida in which they recover, sort, and ship literally tons of life-saving medical supplies and equipment. As part of this process, students form surplus recovery partnerships with hospitals, engage in fundraising, and market their regional chapter on university campuses to increase awareness of our mission. The officers of these chapters learn management, professionalism, and business skills during their involvement, which help them develop professionally and make them extremely appealing to graduate programs and future employers.
